One of the greatest female skiers in US History, Lindsey Vonn was born in 1984 in Minnesota, USA. Having been into racing at just 7 years of age, Vonn quickly put herself on the winning track, hitting the dizzy highs of success adjust 14 years of age, winning the Trofeo Topolino in Italy.

From there, her ascent to stardom was steep and predictable. Vonn quickly became part of Team USA for the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympics, and one year later she attained a silver medal at the World Championships, junior level.
